The Rattlesnake's Vengence

I really liked this story. I feel really bad for the wife but I really appreciated the pity that the rattlesnakes showed to the man. I think that if I were to rewrite this story I would focus on more about that the rattlesnake was talking with the kids and one of them was scared and started to cry and so the mother thought the snake had bitten one of the kids so instead she tries to kill one of the snakes as a way to protect her children. There could have been another rattlesnake that could have witnessed everything that had happened who also was a mother who protected her kids from humans who actually were trying to protect her children. So when the tribe finds out. They want the women to die but instead of the husband sacrificing his wife so something doesn't happen to him he says that he is willing to take the punishment and that can be a source of conflict between the wife and husband and then the snakes could either see this and let them live and teach them the song or bite him and then teach the song either before and letting them save the person who was bit or letting them die but then telling them about the mystical way that they could be saved and how it is going to be okay and how it will never happen again and this lead to peace and mutual respect between the two species. I think that this was a very good and interesting story to read through.
